Privacy and cookies policy

This information explains how we process the personal data of visitors to the website and of people who contact us. We act in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

2. What data we process and why

  • Contact form and e-mail – first name and surname, e-mail, telephone, subject and content of the message. We use the data only to respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
  • Cooperation and invoicing – contact and billing details of clients and their representatives that we need to perform the contract and meet our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
  • Website visits – technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and cookies according to your settings in the cookie bar (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

3. How long we keep data

We keep messages from the contact form for a maximum of 2 years from the last communication if they do not lead to cooperation. We keep the data needed to perform the contract and for accounting for the duration of the cooperation and for the period required by law (usually 10 years). We keep cookie data according to the validity period of the individual cookies.

4. Who we share data with

We do not provide data to third parties for their own purposes. They may only be processed by our suppliers who provide website operation, hosting, e-mail and analytics for us (for example, the server and e-mail provider, Google Analytics), on the basis of a contract and only to the extent necessary. When using Google services, data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Essential cookies ensure that the website works (for example, remembering your language and your choice in the cookie bar) and do not require consent. Analytics and marketing cookies (for example, Google Analytics) are used only with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time in the cookie bar. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You may withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@avdigi.eu. If you believe that we process data in breach of the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (www.dataprotection.gov.sk).

7. Security

The website is protected by an encrypted connection (SSL), only authorised persons have access to the data and we back up the data regularly. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
